About Alauda

The vocal ensemble Alauda consists of four voices and a guitar. Their repertoire consists of classical music, Swedish folk music, jazz and lots of their own material.
A concert with Alauda costs SEK 4 000 - 8 000 (+ travel and hotel if the venue is not in Stockholm).

JUL (Christmas)
Recorded 2007. Traditional Christmas songs, four voices and guitar, violin, contrabass, percussion. Three of the 21 songs are in English (Once in royal David's city, Deck the hall, The Christmas song), one in Latin (Gaudete), one in German (Wiegenlied) and all the rest in Swedish. NATTGLIM (Nattglim is a Swedish white flower)
Recorded 2006. Swedish Folk music, jazz and classical music and other songs in Alauda's own unique sound, four voices and guitar. Three of the 20 songs are in English (Come again, Top of the morning, All of me), two in Latin (Benedictus, Ave maris stella) and three without words altogether (two Swedish folk songs and one jazz piece).
